• Flying at night can be extremely beautiful and if you do any trips, it is a real asset in case you don't get to your destination before the sun sets. There are no tests for this rating, you only need to log the time with an instructor.

    Dual Time -5 hrs at night including 2 hrs cross country

    -10 hrs instrument (count 5 hrs from PPL)

    Solo time - 5 hours at night (must have 10 T/O and landings at night)
